Attic Cleanout Services in Maryland

Attics collect decades of stuff — holiday decorations, old furniture, clothes nobody wears, boxes that haven't been opened since the last move. We haul it all out so you can reclaim your space.

Low-clearance storage spaces cleared carefully

Clear the Attic Without Damaging the Ceiling Below

Attic cleanouts combine difficult access with low headroom, exposed framing, insulation, ductwork and storage that may have been untouched for years. Every box, bag and loose item still has to travel through a hatch or narrow stairway and then through the home.

MD Junk Pros plans the carrying route before loading begins. We work from the access point into the storage area, keep weight on appropriate walking surfaces, protect the route through the home and remove only the contents included in the estimate.

How an Attic Cleanout Works

01

Inspect access and flooring

We review the stairs or hatch, walking surface, headroom, framing, insulation and route through the home.

02

Clear in controlled loads

The crew removes manageable loads from the access point outward while keeping the route open and stable.

03

Carry, load and review

Included contents are carried to the trailer, the accessible storage surface is swept and the result is reviewed.

Two Real Attic Cleanouts Completed in Central Maryland

Both projects below are genuine before-and-after attic cleanouts. They show two different rafter layouts, low-clearance carrying conditions and the usable storage area reopened after the contents were removed.

Central Maryland

Low-Clearance Attic Storage Cleanout

Boxes, bags and loose storage removed from beneath steep rafters

Request an attic estimate

This low-clearance attic had boxes, bagged contents, loose household storage and a metal frame spread across the carpeted and boarded walking surface. The crew worked from the access point toward the far wall, carried the designated contents down in manageable loads and reopened the aisle and usable storage area while leaving the small retained items in place.

Raftered Attic Household Storage Cleanout

Bagged contents, cartons and loose household items carried out

Request an attic estimate

The second attic was packed beneath exposed rafters with large bags, flattened cartons, loose boards and mixed household storage. With limited standing room and framing on both sides, the work had to move in smaller carries. The finished photo shows the open subfloor and clear path around the rafters and ductwork after the included contents were removed.

Clear, scope-based estimates

How Attic Cleanout Pricing Works

Attic cleanouts are priced from the full scope rather than a small-pickup minimum. The estimate accounts for volume and density, stair or hatch access, headroom, condition of the walking surface, exposed framing or insulation, carrying distance through the home, sorting instructions, labor, number of loads and disposal requirements.

Questions answered

Attic Cleanout FAQ

Can you get large items out of my attic?
Yes. We're experienced with pull-down stairs, narrow hatches, and tight attic spaces. We carefully maneuver furniture, boxes, and large items out without damaging your home's walls, ceilings, or stairways.
Is there anything you can't remove from an attic?
We remove almost everything — old furniture, boxes, insulation, holiday decorations, clothing, and general clutter. We can't remove asbestos or active pest infestations, but we'll let you know if we see anything like that during the estimate.
Do I need to be home during the cleanout?
It's helpful to be there at the start so you can walk us through what goes and what stays. After that, you're free to leave and we'll handle the rest. We'll lock up and text you when we're done.
How much does an attic cleanout cost?
It depends on the volume of items and the difficulty of access. Attics with pull-down stairs or tight openings take more time, which factors into the price. We always give you a free estimate before starting.
Will you damage my ceiling or walls?
We take extreme care moving items through your home. We use protective coverings where needed and take our time navigating tight spaces. If anything gets scuffed, we'll let you know immediately.
Can you remove old insulation?
We can remove non-hazardous insulation like fiberglass batts. If your home has vermiculite or suspected asbestos insulation, that requires a licensed abatement contractor.
