Getting Rid of an Old Hot Tub

Hot tubs are one of those items that seem impossible to get rid of. They're massive, they're heavy, and you can't exactly put one on the curb for trash day. We handle hot tub removal from start to finish. We disconnect it (you'll need an electrician for any hardwired electrical), break it down into manageable pieces on-site, load everything up, and haul it away. Your deck or patio is left clean.

We Remove All Types

Portable above-ground hot tubs, built-in spas, wooden hot tubs, acrylic shells — we've removed them all. We work on decks, patios, concrete pads, and in backyards with limited access. If your hot tub is in a tight spot or behind a fence, we'll figure out the best way to get it out without damaging your property.

How to Get Started

Call or text (443) 936-8583 and send us a few photos of your hot tub and the surrounding area. We'll give you a free estimate based on the size, location, and access. Most hot tub removals are completed in 1-3 hours. We handle all the heavy lifting — you just point and we make it disappear.

Hot Tub Removal FAQ

How do you remove a hot tub?
We break the hot tub apart on-site using reciprocating saws and other tools, then load the pieces into our truck and trailer. We don't need a crane or heavy equipment for most residential hot tubs.
Do you disconnect the hot tub electrical?
No. For safety reasons, we require the hot tub to be disconnected from electrical by a licensed electrician before we arrive. This is standard practice in the industry.
Does the hot tub need to be drained first?
Yes, the hot tub should be drained before our arrival. If there's a small amount of water remaining, that's fine — but the bulk of the water needs to be out.
Can you remove a hot tub from a deck?
Yes. We frequently remove hot tubs from decks, patios, and screened-in porches. We take care to protect the surrounding structure during the removal process.
How long does hot tub removal take?
Most hot tub removals take 1-3 hours depending on size, location, and accessibility. A hot tub on a ground-level patio is faster than one on a raised deck behind a fence.
How much does hot tub removal cost?
Pricing depends on the hot tub size, location, and accessibility. A standard residential hot tub in an accessible location is very manageable. We provide free estimates.
